Jodi A. McKillip
Certified Public Accountant
President
Jodi is a CPA who grew up locally and graduated from Douglas County High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, in accounting with an emphasis in Finance and Systems, from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado.
Experience counts… Jodi has been in private and public accounting for over 20 years. She started in accounting as a bookkeeper in high school and continued on to get her degree and license. She has managed several large national and local firms in the Denver area during her career. Most of her clients have consisted of top-level corporate executives with high-level tax returns and accounting issues. Other areas of expertise include real estate, oil, and gas, software companies, retail stores, construction, law firms, Doctors, medical supplies, manufacturing, farming, ranching, and more. Jodi has a wide range of experience including tax return preparation and planning for individuals and businesses. Jodi specializes in business, individual, estates & trusts, non-profit tax, and multi-state filings.
Volunteer in the community… Castle Pines Chamber-Past Chair, Chair-Elect, and Past Treasurer. Larkspur Elementary School-Past PTO Treasurer; American Society of Women Accountants-Past Committee Chair.
Jeffrey Dickson
Office Manager, Tax Preparer, Bookkeeper, QuickBooks Pro-Adviser
Jeffrey started with Castle Rock Tax in August of 2012. He heads up the front office as our office manager, tax preparer, payroll specialist, and bookkeeper. He keeps the office running smoothly and handles most of our in-house client bookkeeping and payroll. Jeffrey has his QuickBooks Pro Advisor Online Certification. He specializes in converting clients from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. He also strives to help clients simplify their everyday bookkeeping needs. Jeffrey can offer a discounted Pro Advisor rate on most QuickBooks Online subscriptions. Jeffrey is a Notary and has been working towards becoming an Enrolled Agent.
Jeffrey graduated from Doughas County High School in 2005. He spent two years at Pikes Peak Community College studying Biology from 2007 to 2009. He then founded Platinum Morphs, a reptile breeding and distributing company. Platinum Morphs specialized in uniquely captive-bred ball pythons and other exotic snake species and have several world’s first genetic combinations. Jeffrey’s work with Platinum Morphs and Castle Rock Tax has given him hands-on insight into how to run a small business effectively, which helps him connect with our clients’ small business needs.
Jamie A. Dickson
Tax Preparer
This will be Jamie’s 12th year as a tax preparer. Jamie started out helping us as a part-time tax preparer, but has since been moved into a full-time position. Jamie specializes in tax prep and also helps out with bookkeeping and reception duties when we get busy!
Jill Ford
Bookkeeper, Client Services
Jill joined our team in 2025 as a bookkeeper. She has lived in Colorado for the past 10 years and holds a degree in Human Resources. While her education is in HR, her professional background is primarily in accounting and financial planning. Jill enjoys working with numbers and is deeply committed to providing the highest level of customer service. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and spoiling her grandsons.
Kathy Chapman
Receptionist, Client Services Specialist
Kathy Chapman was born in Colorado and brings decades of administrative and client‑facing experience to her work. She spent 20 years serving as a church secretary and treasurer, where she developed strong organizational skills, financial recordkeeping expertise, and a deep commitment to supporting her community.
Kathy also worked in the banking industry for a total of nine years, serving as a Bank Teller, Lead Teller, and later as a Financial Wellness Consultant (Universal Banker). These roles strengthened her ability to provide exceptional customer service and gave her extensive experience working directly with clients to understand and support their financial needs.
Kathy graduated from Elbert High School before completing two years at Pikes Peak Community College now Pikes Peak State College where she studied Business Administration. Her combined background in administration, finance, and client relations gives her a well‑rounded perspective and a strong foundation for supporting both customers and team operations.
